Double glazing (soundproof, insulated Double glazing) is made up of two or more outer layers of glass (tempered glass, glazed glass, reflective glass or Low-E glass can be used), aluminum spokes and the void between the layers of glass. This void is injected with about 95% – 97% Argon gas. Between the layers of glass is separated by aluminum spokes inside containing hygroscopic particles, which has the effect of absorbing residual moisture in the inner gas layer, creating a soundproof glass box, absolute thermal insulation. The outer two-component silicone sealant will bond the shaped layers of glass and aluminum spokes.

The hollow space between the Argon-infused glass layers maximizes insulation, keeping the interior space cool in summer and warm in winter, significantly reducing the need for air conditioning and heating.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Step 1 Full-gauge glass is put on the CNC cutting machine to cut into pairs or leave in full-gauge depending on the customer’s order. Once the glass has been cut as required, it will be put into a washing machine using RO water to clean the surface and dry it. Depending on the requirements of the order, the glass can be tempered.
Step 2 Aluminum bars will be cut, bent according to the shape and size of the order, after being fixed, the aluminum frame will be passed through the desiccant particle pump into the hollow inside the intestine.

Step 3

 

The aluminum bars are passed through the butyl sealant pump device to apply a layer of adhesive to both sides of the stick and are hung on the rack to prevent distortion or dirt from sticking to the sealant.

Step 4

 

At the Bystronic machine line, the first glass plate is inserted into the line and goes to the water chamber, then to the Argon gas pump chamber. Continue to the second glass plate that is inserted into the line into the water chamber, when the glass plate comes out of the water chamber, the aluminum spokes will be attached to the second glass plate and enter the Argon gas pump chamber.
Step 5 At the gas pumping chamber, Argon gas will be injected into the chamber, at the same time, the machine will squeeze 2 glass plates into the surface of the aluminum spokes.

Step 6

 

Pump 1 layer of silicone sealant with a thickness of 5mm – 10mm around the glass plate with an automatic sealant pump system.
Step 7 Check the quality of finished glass before warehousing.
