SAFETY LAMINATED GLASS is a type of bearing glass made up of two or more layers of normal glass, the layers of glass are bonded together with PVB film in the middle. When bonding, depending on the strength required by the order, 1 to multiple layers of PVB film can be bonded. The most popular used PVB film has a thickness of 0.38 mm.

When the safety laminated glass breaks, the PVB film secures the debris so that it does not fall out, minimizing the risk and causing no damage to the user. In particular, PVB film can form a barrier against external intrusion (bulletproof, anti-theft…). In addition, another advantage of PVB film is that it limits the thermal effects and UV radiation that are harmful to health and minimizes noise.

PRODUCTION PROCESS

Cutting Glass Glass materials from large format will be cut in pairs or left in full size according to the size required by the order.
Washing Glass The glass will be put on the washing machine line using RO water to clean the two surfaces and dry them. Glass panels after washing and drying will be checked by workers at the Factory for quality in terms of size, edge, clean, dry glass surfaces, glass without scalloping, chipping, scratching, before moving to the bonding step.
Bonding Glass

The first sheet of glass is first introduced into the glazing line to the positioning table position. The glass plate will then be coated with a PVB film on the surface.

The second glass plate is positioned and put into the position where the first glass plate has just been coated with PVB film, so that the two glass plates can be temporarily bonded to each other.

Pressing the glass The glass plates after temporary bonding will be pressed tightly together through an automatic pressing system by roller pivot. To ensure that the glass layers are bonded more tightly together, the glass will be steamed once at a temperature of 140 degrees Celsius and switched to the shelf position for heating.
Olay The glass shelves are put into the compression and heating system (Olay oven) at standard temperature for a period of about 3 hours – 8 hours depending on the thickness of the glass plates, after reaching the specified temperature, the glass will be cooled by air evenly and removed from the compression and heating system.
